In Partnership with the Friends of the Tampa Bay Aquatic Preserves, we will host a Greek Dinner and movie, Beneath the 12-Mile Reef, filmed in Tarpon Springs and released in 1953 with a very young Robert Wagner playing the son of a sponge diver off the west coast of Florida. The movie was nominated for the best cinematography at the 1954 Oscar and nominated for the Grand Prize at the Cannes Film Festival the same year. Bring a Chair or Blanket for the movie.
