The Clearwater Historical Society Museum is expanding it’s current hours of operation and is seeking more volunteers to make it possible. If you are a member of the Society you have already proven you care about local history. We welcome you to join our our volunteer team, helping visitors and locals explore Clearwater history.
Behind the scenes there are many hands-on opportunities to be part of the CHS Mission: Special Events, Fundraising, P.R./Communications, Education and Programming. Interested in more responsibility? Consider a Board Position and truly make difference. Applications can be found here. If you are ready to take on a new challenge, are trustworthy, bring experience, commitment and ready to roll up your sleeves call Dena, Volunteer Coordinator, at 727-754-8019.
On Exhibit
Every Day: Explore our collection of photos, yearbooks and historical artifacts that tell the history of Clearwater.

The Plumb Closet is a facet of The Clearwater Historical Society and includes hundreds of gently used, vintage and unique clothes for sale. Proceeds benefit the Clearwater Historical Society.

The George Fulmer Photographer collection
Have you been photographed by Fulmer Photography and looking for reprints of an old photo?
The estate of George Fulmer has graciously donated tens of thousands of his negatives to us. They are cataloged and numbered, and stored with us at the Clearwater Historical Society. For a donation to our organization, we will pour through his library, locate your requested photo negative, scan them and deliver a digital copy to you. Simply contact us and make your request. We will do our best to find your special moments!
